Bibliographic research is a crucial phase for the elaboration of the Degree Thesis, because it allows to substantiate, elaborate or even refute the starting theme of the thesis itself.
To carry out a bibliographic research that is useful and functional to the thesis it is necessary to proceed with method and systematicity, having clear the starting point of the research, identifying the specific topic to be treated as well as the question to be answered.
In the first phase it is important to identify the specific terminology (keyword), in Italian or foreign language, on which the search for documents will be based.
In the second phase it is important to know how to use the consultation tools, such as monographs, articles in periodicals, conference proceedings, Standards, either on paper or on-line.
For all these consultation tools there are different types of research, and it is useful to contact a librarian for practical explanations.
