The DIETI Library, which is part of the library system of the University of Naples, Federico II, considers it important to protect the personal data of its users, for this reason we want to inform you of the principles and purposes that lead us to request personal data before being able to use the services of the library and what are the methods of conservation and use, as well as the possibility for interested parties to request their modification or elimination when no longer useful.
In order to use the services offered by the DIETI library, such as entrance and use of the study room, consultation, loan, request for bibliographic research, academic articles and other services aimed at retrieving bibliographic information, the library staff needs to know the following personal data:

Their processing is required exclusively in order to use the services offered, and they are not transmitted to others or used for other purposes.
Personal Data will be processed by the DIETI Library for the entire period in which the services used are used. From the moment in which these services will no longer be used, only the data concerning the registration number and services used and exclusively for statistical purposes will be kept.
As required by the relevant legislation, the interested party (owner of personal data) has the right of access to check which personal data are processed and in what manner, as well as request its modification, updating or deletion, in the latter case if you do not want to use the library services.
