The individual reading/study room of the DIETI library, located on the second floor of building 3 of the Engineering Campus of the University of Naples Federico II in via Claudio, was the subject of expansion works in July 2023 which led to a capacity with 44 seats (previously there were 34), and is set up with the furnishings purchased in February 2018.
In the room there is a workstation for the visually impaired and a workstation for part-time collaborators.
Students regularly enrolled in the Study Courses pertaining to the DIETS Department can access the study room of the library, and if free places are available, all students enrolled in the Study Courses pertaining to the Federico II School of Engineering are admitted.
Access to the study room by the student is subject to the daily registration of their data (surname, first name and student number), by completing a Google form.
It is allowed to bring your own laptop and personal teaching material.
The library is also equipped with the University WI-Fi network.
Admission to the library is subject to compliance with the rules of civil coexistence imposed by the attendance of a place of study.
IT IS FORBIDDEN:
- speak and study aloud;
- study in a group;
- to smoke;
- damage the bibliographic material and make signs or annotations;
- conceal bibliographic material or retain it without authorization;
- put the bibliographic material in a different location from the original one;
- use the IT tools for purposes other than online bibliographic consultation;
- damage tables and chairs, tamper with the software set-up and hardware equipment made available.
