Thanks to the SINAPSI Center, a workstation equipped with a planetary scanner has been activated in the DIETI Library to allow students with disabilities and with SLD to autonomously reproduce the digital versions of documents and magazines and anything that may be useful to them to support their course of study.

From 24 October 2022, a new method of recording data for access to the study room of the DIETI library has been active.
By framing the QRcode available on the desk in the hall, you will arrive at a google form on which you will have to enter only Surname Name and Serial Number, send and you will be able to access the Study Room Library.
Among the electronic resources of the Digital Library of the University of Naples Federico II, we highlight MLOL – Media Library OnLine, a platform providing access to the digital lending of ebooks, newspapers, and journals.
This resource is acquired by the University Center for Libraries (CAB) and is therefore available to the entire academic community.
Read more ...The national CARE/CRUI negotiation is negotiating with the major international publishers a new type of so-called "transformative" agreements which provide for the authors of the institutions that adhere to these contracts also the possibility of publishing Open Access WITHOUT additional costs for the author affiliated with the institution since these expenses are already included in the cost of the contract and are therefore incurred upstream by the respective universities.
All those who have an institutional relationship with Federico II and who are authorized to upload to IRIS, therefore also doctoral students, are considered affiliated authors.
Read more ...To help users, especially students, the CAB, Centro di Ateneo per le Biblioteche, has prepared a series of video tutorials on bibliographic research, on the use of the various tools made available for research and on how to connect from home to consult electronic resources.
These are short films (maximum three minutes) designed as guides to provide quick information and support, a sort of first literacy.
In the University Digital Library, you can find all the electronic resources (electronic journals, ebooks, technical standards, databases) acquired by Federico II and managed by the CAB. Institutional users can access it from any unina IP or even from external stations by setting the proxy server. Among these, for the research sectors of the DIETI Department:

Access to electronic resources from within the University network takes place by IP recognition of the fixed computer or via the unina wifi network and does not require registrations or passwords.
