Thanks to the SINAPSI Center, a workstation equipped with a planetary scanner has been activated in the DIETI Library to allow students with disabilities and with SLD to autonomously reproduce the digital versions of documents and magazines and anything that may be useful to them to support their course of study.
For information on how to use the scanner, follow the link to the video prepared by the Sinapsi Center https://www.sinapsi.unina.it/scanner_planetari_biblioteche

The national CARE/CRUI negotiation is negotiating with the major international publishers a new type of so-called "transformative" agreements which provide for the authors of the institutions that adhere to these contracts also the possibility of publishing Open Access WITHOUT additional costs for the author affiliated with the institution since these expenses are already included in the cost of the contract and are therefore incurred upstream by the respective universities.
All those who have an institutional relationship with Federico II and who are authorized to upload to IRIS, therefore also doctoral students, are considered affiliated authors.
Starting from July 2020, the first transformative agreements were defined.
For more information, please refer to the page of the Unina SBA website dedicated to transformation contracts, which lists the contracts already active and those in the process of being defined.
To help users, especially students, the CAB, Centro di Ateneo per le Biblioteche, has prepared a series of video tutorials on bibliographic research, on the use of the various tools made available for research and on how to connect from home to consult electronic resources.
These are short films (maximum three minutes) designed as guides to provide quick information and support, a sort of first literacy.
Find all the tutorials linked to the page http://www.sba.unina.it/index.php?it/380/tutorial
It is also possible to consult them in the Vimeo channel of the CAB: https://vimeo.com/cabfederico2
In the University Digital Library, you can find all the electronic resources (electronic journals, ebooks, technical standards, databases) acquired by Federico II and managed by the CAB. Institutional users can access it from any unina IP or even from external stations by setting the proxy server. Among these, for the research sectors of the DIETI Department:
To see which other resources are included in the University Digital Library, follow the link
https://www.sba.unina.it/index.php/elenco-risorse/.
Access to electronic resources from within the University network takes place by IP recognition of the fixed computer or via the unina wifi network and does not require registrations or passwords.
All institutional users (students, PhD students, professors, PTAs) who want to access the same resources outside the University (off-campus) can access with proxy server (in ita) Proxy.pdf.
